Welcome to the Commerce platform intergration documentation.
Prerequisites​
Company Onboarding​
The various business units you wish to integrate must be onboarded into the platform. Each business unit must be established as either a Merchant or a Vendor. In some scenarios, you may wish to onboard them as both a Merchant and Vendor.
- Merchant: Establishes a storefront comprising of vendor product offerings.
- Vendor: Establishes product offerings for merchants. Handles fulfillment of purchased goods.
If you only require a handful of companies reach out to our integration team and we can create them for you.
In more complex scenarios a dynamic approach is recommended. Onboarding endpoints can also be created for your custom integration, allowing you to onboard organizations ad-hoc.
User Onboarding​
To establish users within your companies, an OpenID Connect integration is available. This will allow the user to login to your system to verify their identity and access levels. There are currently a limited amount of access levels, however we can work with you to establish a more granular approach.
- Shopper: Basic access level to browse products, manage a cart, and begin checkout
- Vendor Admin: Manage products, pricing, inventory, as well as order fulfillment.
- Merchant Admin: In Development
SportsEngine Integrations​
The quickest way of integration is to be an existing SportsEngine customer. Companies and users can be onboarded without any additional setup.
